The ski is held in the center by a length adjustable sole that retracts the brake when inserted into the binding. This clamp method eliminates the problems of clamping cap skis in traditional vises. Edge and base remain exposed for unobstructed access. Flat, 45°, or 90° (with use of included vertical clamps) working positions give you the optimum working angle.
