LED light bars are used extensively in Europe to signal when to raise the safety bar when approaching the top chairlift terminal.   Most guests tend to raise the bar much earlier than necessary, which increases the risk of falling while preparing to unload.

The Lift Sentry LED Light Bar is normally placed at the leading edge or “lip” of the terminal platform. As the guest(s) approach the terminal and ride over the light bar, the green LEDs will appear at the moment you want them to raise the bar.   Special attention and some “T&E” is required to position the light bar in such a way to have the green LEDs appear at the optimum moment.

Lift Sentry is available with GREEN ONLY LEDs or RED & GREEN LEDs. Powered by 120VAC using the supplied power supply, or if AC power is not available at the top terminal, a 2-conductor cable with black & red alligator clips are also provided for connection to a 12-volt battery. Two vibration dampening loop clamps are also provided, for installation onto the terminal. Included is a highway grade 12" x 18" aluminum tower sign with ANSI B77 icon and text: “Prepare to Unload Raise Bar at Green Light.”
