This new timing device improves upon the CP540 by adding several additional features. It still has a standard RS232 serial connection as well as an Ethernet connection. New to the CP545 is the addition of a built in USB to serial convertor to make deployment easier. The device is delivered with a mini USB to USB cable and it will create a virtual serial port with a PC on connection. The CP545 also has a larger memory than its predecessor. The CP545 contains all of the standalone timing modes currently available in its internal menu. Also new to the CP545 is a battery charging circuit that allows for the use of standard alkaline or rechargeable nickel metal hydride "AA" batteries for power. The unit is delivered in a custom case with rechargeable batteries, USB cable and a Charger / Power supply. Serial cable and RJ45 cables not included.
